West Bloomfield: The Lakers wrapped up the regular season with a 16-13 win over Utica Eisenhower on Friday night in the Swamp. West Bloomfield was without Semaj Morgan whom was out with an injury. The Lakers are a lock for a likely home game next week in the postseason.
Adams: The Highlanders had a tough time with Sterling Heights Stevenson on Friday night winning 42-28 at Runkel Field on Friday night. Adams will likely have a home game next week in the postseason.
Clarkston: The Wolves earned a 50-14 win over Oak Park on Friday night. It’s possible that Clarkston hosts a postseason game next week.
Lake Orion: The Dragons had a tough 49-21 loss to
Saline on Friday night. According to the Playoff Points in Division One, Lake
Orion will be the last one in the postseason with likely playing Adams on the road next week.
Stoney Creek: The Cougars are likely back in the postseason after a hard fought 21-20 win over New Baltimore Anchor Bay on Friday night. Stoney Creek could be on the road to start in the postseason next week.
Oxford: The Wildcats had a really tough season after falling 34-14 to Chippewa Valley on Friday night. Oxford should be better next season. They have a lot of experience coming back next season. The Wildcats will be back.
Southfield Arts and Tech: The Warriors earned a hard fought 28-21 win over River Rouge on Friday night. Southfield Arts and Tech is back in the postseason for the first time in a long while. It is possible they could get a home playoff game next week.
Harper Woods: The Pioneers had a tough 28-0 loss to Roseville on Friday night. Harper Woods should be a darkhorse team to watch next season.
Groves: The Falcons are postseason bound after beating Seaholm 14-7 on Friday night. It is possible that Groves could see the Maples in the postseason next week.
Rochester: The Falcons are heading to the postseason for the first time in a long while, not counting the COVID season with a 34-21 win over Detroit Renaissance. It’s unknown what happens with Rochester heading into the postseason next week.
Bloomfield Hills: The Blackhawks earned a 28-21 win over North Farmington at Ron Holland Field to close the season strong. It’s going to be very interesting to see what happens with Bloomfield Hills next season.
Oak Park: The Knights had a tough 50-14 loss to Clarkston on Friday night. It will be very interesting to see what happens with Oak Park next season.
Seaholm: The Maples have lost two straight which is a concern heading into the postseason. They fell 14-7 to Groves on Friday night. It is possible they could see the Falcons again next week in the postseason.
North Farmington: The Raiders lost a 28-21 heartbreaker on their homecoming to Bloomfield Hills on Friday night at Ron Holland Field. North Farmington has a lot to figure out heading into next season.
Farmington: The Falcons had a really disappointing loss to Utica falling 35-28 on Friday night. They had the lead a few times but they couldn't finish the deal. Farmington could be on the road either in Birmingham or as far south as Temperance to start the postseason.
Troy: The Colts earned a 41-0 win over Fraser on Friday night. They could likely have a road game looming next week in the postseason.
Troy Athens: The Red Hawks finished their season strong with a 23-22 win over Utica Ford II on Friday night. Troy Athens should be much improved heading into next season.
Berkley: The Bears had a really rough season falling 29-0 to St. Clair Shores Lakeview on Friday night. There is a lot to look at for Coach Sean Shields and his program. Berkley should be improved next season.
Avondale: The Yellow Jackets are likely postseason bound after beating Warren Fitzgerald 50-25 on Friday night. Avondale is looking really good heading into the postseason. They could get a home game with them being in Division Three.
Royal Oak: The Ravens need a complete reboot after a rough few weeks. They fell 41-0 for the second straight week to Avondale on Friday night. Royal Oak has been outscored 125-0 in the last three weeks. This is a program that needs to just start over and look forward to next season.
Pontiac: The Phoenix fell 60-24 to Garden City extending the State’s longest losing streak for another season. Pontiac is heading in the right direction though. Just have to keep the momentum going heading into next season.
Ferndale: The Eagles could be postseason bound with a 52-21 win over St. Clair Shores Lake Shore on Friday night. Ferndale earned the last spot in Division Two for the postseason. They have overcame so much adversity and won the Gold this season. The Eagles will likely be on the road to start the postseason.
