The Lakers needed a bounce back after a rough start to the season with an impressive 54-37 win over Grosse Pointe South. Sheridan Beal had a big night for West Bloomfield scoring 30 points in the game. West Bloomfield has a tall task ahead of them when they play Rockford this weekend.
FERNDALE vs Ypsilanti Arbor Prep-NL
The Eagles have really toughen up their non conference and that's not even the Red yet. Ferndale played Ypsilanti Arbor Prep in which they won over the Gators but the score wasn't reported yet. We'll try to get the score when we can.

Birmingham Detroit Country Day 76, FERNDALE 41.
The Eagles might have taken a big hit with this performance against Birmingham Detroit Country Day in a stunning 76-41 blowout. Cece Arico had a monster game scoring 23 points while Jayla Jackson had 16 points, Saniyah Blackwell had 12 points, and Ariyana Wiggins had 11 points for the Yellow Jackets. Ferndale's path in Division Two goes through Birmingham Detroit Country Day, this game proved they aren't there yet.
