The Clarkston Wolves will have a new athletic director this fall.

Jeff Kosin has retired as athletic director at the end of the school year according to multiple sources. The job was posted on workinsports.com on Wednesday.

"After ten incredible years as Athletic Director (26 at Clarkston Community Schools) we celebrate and thank Jeff Kosin for his unwavering leadership, dedication, and commitment to Clarkston Athletics. His passion for student athletes, commitment to excellence, and relentless support of our coaches and programs helped shape a culture that will endure long after his final day. Through his leadership, dedication, and commitment to student athletes, Clarkston Athletics has achieved remarkable success while fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and pride. Jeff's impact reaches far beyond championships and trophies, it lives on countless students, coaches, and families he inspired along the way. Thank you for your leadership, your passion, and the legacy you built. Congratulations on a well-earned retirement! #CTOWN #CLARKSTONNATION" Clarkston Athletics said on their X page.

Kosin took over as the athletic director in 2017 from legendary boys basketball coach Dan Fife. Fife led the Wolves to two State titles in boys basketball as a coach along with three Division One State crowns in football along with multiple postseason appearances.

Kosin spent ten years as athletic director leading Clarkston to greater heights and promise. He had 57 titles under his watch including seven State Championships.

It will be very interesting to see who takes over the athletic director's job at Clarkston but Kosin did a great job with the athletic department building it into what it is today. Clarkston is a great job with a great community.
