The OAA is off to a great start and the league has delivered two State Champions on Saturday afternoon.
Adams dominant in Girls Golf.
Coach Jeff Kushman led Adams to their first State title in Girls Golf in dominating fashion at Bedford Valley in Battle Creek. The Highlanders won by 47 strokes over the field. They had 629 total points. Brighton was second with 676.
Rochester was third with 681 while Troy Athens and Troy were seventh and eighth respectably. The Red Hawks shot a 699 while the Colts shot a 710.
The Highlanders have a ton of talent coming back next season and should be a team to watch.
Bloomfield Hills Wins Boys Tennis State Crown.
In Boys Tennis, Bloomfield Hills won the Division One State crown in Holland on Saturday afternoon. The Blackhawks scored 34 points and had several indivual players win State titles as well.
Troy was second with 24 points while Rochester was seventh with 13 points. Adams was ninth with 10 points. Stoney Creek was tied for 13th with eight points and Troy Athens rounded the OAA representation with a 17th place finish with four points.
In Division Two, Seaholm finished second with 21 points behind Midland Dow whom scored 29 points to win the Division Two crown.
Groves was tied for fifth with 18 points while North Farmington was tied for 11th with six points.
The OAA is off to a great start as mentioned to the fall season with more State crowns yet to come.
