Girls Basketball Top 23.

The girls basketball portion of 2022 is over as we head into 2023. Here is the top 23 around the OAA which includes everyone's updated record.

1. West Bloomfield (6-2): An emotional win like that gains a ton of confidence for the Lakers.

2. Rochester (7-1): Winning close games has helped the Falcons.

3. Lake Orion (6-1): Nice bounce back going into the break.

4. Oxford (6-1): Wildcats have been rolling since the Lake Orion game.

5. North Farmington (8-0): Raiders got their test and passed with flying colors.

6. Clarkston (5-3): Wolves say that they are getting closer.

7. Royal Oak (6-1): Ravens are the hottest team right now.

8. Stoney Creek (5-2): Giving the Cougars a pass here.

9. Bloomfield Hills (5-1): Loving what the Blackhawks are doing right now.

10. Groves (3-4): Falcons got a nice win over Waterford Kettering despite playing brutal schedule.

11. Harper Woods (4-2): Pioneers can score but defense is a major issue.

12. Troy Athens (4-3): Two tough league losses is a concern for the Red Hawks.

13. Southfield Arts and Tech (2-5): Warriors are more competitive than last year.

14. Troy (3-6): Regan Zeiter has been playing very well for the Colts.  

15. Farmington (3-4): Falcons rolling through the Blue setting up collision course with Bloomfield Hills.

16. Seaholm (1-6): Maples have lost five in a row all by 15 or more points.

17. Avondale (3-5): Yellow Jackets are rolling though the Blue.

18. Berkley (1-4): Bears getting better despite setback to North Farmington.

19. Adams (2-6):  Win over Waterford Kettering was nice for the Highlanders.

20. Oak Park (1-4): Knights really struggling on both sides of the basketball.

21. Ferndale (1-1): Eagles starting to come back to earth a little bit.

22. Ferndale University (0-4): Very disappointed with the Eagles right now.

23. Pontiac (0-6): The Phoenix have a lot to figure out right now.
