Boys Basketball Top 23.

Written Friday December 30th at 11:35 PM

Here is the updated Boys Basketball Top 23 for the week which all records from the Holiday Classics are updated.

1. North Farmington (6-1): Raiders had a very strong showing in the Holiday Extravaganza. Big showdown with Grand Blanc looming in Genesee County. Wonder if ESPN 100.9 FM will have the game on their radio airwaves????

2. Oak Park (3-1): Tough loss to Macomb Dakota but the Knights will be fine.

3. Troy (5-1): Colts will be fine, no need to panic.

4. Adams (3-2): Highlanders bounced back in a big way.

5. Bloomfield Hills (6-1): We will see how the Blackhawks respond after a loss.

6. Ferndale (1-4): Eagles did not look good at all against Orchard Lake St. Marys. The schedule might be getting to them.

7. West Bloomfield (5-1): Lakers saw their win streak come to a halt against Grosse Pointe South.

8. Clarkston (5-2): Brody Kosin is the key to the Wolves success.

9. Groves (4-2): Great bounce back Falcons.

10. Royal Oak (5-0): Ravens playing well despite not as tough non conference.

11. Lake Orion (3-2): Dragons had a good bounce back despite not finishing well.

12. Oxford (3-2): Wildcats have been rolling without Jake Champagne.

13. Rochester (3-3): Falcons are banged up right now. This rest will be very helpful going forward.

14. Harper Woods (3-3): Pioneers had a really tough loss to Waterford Mott in the Roundball.

15. Troy Athens (3-3): Emmanuel Robinson has been a star in the making for the Red Hawks.

16. Avondale (3-4): Yellow Jackets have been up and down lately.

17. Berkley (3-3): Bears will be fine.

18. Ferndale University (4-3): Eagles picked up a big win over a good Meridian program.

19. Stoney Creek (0-5): Cougars are getting better despite tough loss to Sterling Heights Stevenson.

20. Farmington (2-3): Falcons scoring 26 points against River Rouge is very concerning.

21. Southfield Arts and Tech (2-5): Warriors have lost four straight, not good.
