These are NOT the official top ten basketball rankings. These are the rankings that I've heard or seen before the season starts in a month.
Boys
1. Groves- Falcons have the makings of a special season.
2. Clarkston- Wolves have a ton of proven experience coming back.
3. West Bloomfield- Losing Drew Wilson hurts the Lakers but they are still going to be very good.
4. North Farmington- What to expect from the Raiders is the question.
5. Ferndale- Eagles need to get by Warren Lincoln if they want to realize their goals.
6. Lake Orion- The Dragons might have their the deepest team since 2018-2019.
7. Oxford- Senior experience is key to the Wildcats success.
8. Avondale- Yellow Jackets have the guards, interior is a question mark.
9. Adams- Highlanders will be a little different this season.
10. Troy- Colts have the star in Mason Parker, who steps up is the question mark.
TEAMS TO WATCH: Pontiac, Berkley, Rochester, Stoney Creek, Seaholm, Bloomfield Hills.
Girls
1. West Bloomfield- Still the champs but it will be different for the Lakers.
2. Stoney Creek-Curious to see how the Cougars do without Sarah LaPriarie.
3. Royal Oak- Ravens still have talent to be one of the best teams.
4. Clarkston- Wolves have the guards, size is the question mark.
5. Lake Orion- Dragons depth will be key to having a successful season.
