Week Seven Rankings and Rankings Explanation.

Written Saturday October 11th at 9:15 AM

Here are the rankings and rankings explanation.

Rankings

1. Harper Woods- The road in Division Four goes through Beaconsfield Street.

2. Clarkston- Boman twins key to the Wolves postseason dreams.

3. Farmington- We'll know a lot about the Falcons this week.

4. Adams- Highlanders got a major scare against Lake Orion on Friday night.

5. Oxford- Wildcats have been in a lot of tight games lately.

6. West Bloomfield- Lakers defense allowing 72 points in last two games is not a good sign.

7. North Farmington- Raiders have been rolling since loss to arch rival Farmington.

8. Berkley- Bears making a late charge, postseason dreams anyone???

9. Groves- Falcons likely heading to the postseason after an emotional win.

10. Stoney Creek- Very bad loss to Groves puts Cougars in a rough spot for the postseason.

Rankings Explanation

The rankings this week brings in Groves and drops a few teams. The top four no changes after big wins. Harper Woods win over Clarkston stands out. Farmington at three but we'll know a lot about the Falcons when they play the Wolves in Clarkston this week. Adams at four and Oxford moving up to five after their emotional win over West Bloomfield. The Lakers defense I have some serious concerns with them. North Farmington stays at seven. Berkley goes to eight after their dominating win over Avondale, I think out of everyone in the Gold they have been playing the best in the last two weeks even though Ferndale won the division. I kept Stoney Creek at 10 in the rankings despite losing to Groves, I felt that the Eagles loss to River Rouge was really disappointing. I also thought of Royal Oak and Seaholm putting them into the rankings but felt one more week for both teams before I think about it but they are close. I feel these rankings make sense at this time.
