Basketball NOT official TOP TEN.

Basketball is not too far away with tryouts starting soon. These are NOT the official top ten rankings to start the season. Also some underrated things to watch before the season starts.

Boys

1. Avondale- Noah Bonds is ready to make his mark on the league.

2. Pontiac- Blend of youth and experience plus a new coach makes the Phoenix dangerous.

3. Clarkston- Waylon Hunter, Owen Poole, and Shane Dasuqi might be the keys to the Wolves season.

4. Ferndale- Eagles have a really tough schedule and a tough district as well.

5. Farmington- Falcons will look to carryover last season's postseason success.

6. Waterford Mott- Corsairs lost a lot of talent but they have some coming back ready to make noise.

7. Lake Orion- Dragons chemistry makes them very dangerous.

8. Bloomfield Hills- Black Hawks might have the best blend of guards in the league.

9. Adams- Cannon Flynn might be the best player that no one is talking about.

10. Stoney Creek- New Coach, New Athletic Director, along with proven experience, all right.

 

Girls

1. West Bloomfield- Sheridan Beal might be the best player in the league.

2. Clarkston- Ava Waslik could be a household name to watch for.

3. Troy- Colts have the talent to have a special year but can they do it???

4. Groves- Sophie Schwanik might be the key to the Falcons season.

5. Stoney Creek- Samantha Fulkerson may be the key to the Cougars season.

6. Berkley- Nicqo Shoulders may be the most expected and impactful freshman in the league.

7. Rochester- Stella Marlow could be a break out player the league needs to know about.

8. Lake Orion- Abby Neering's versatility could be what the Dragons are looking for.

9. Avondale- Sasha McClellan is ready to take the league by storm.

10. Oxford- Could Jaylen Jacobson be that post player the Wildcats are looking for???
