Here are the upcoming Baseball State Semifinal and Softball Quarterfinal Preview.
Baseball
ADAMS vs Brownstown Woodhaven at Michigan State
The Highlanders have had a history of walk offs beating Rochester, Romeo, and Chippewa Valley in that fashion. Adams exploded for 17 runs in a stunning 17-3 win over Oxford to get to the State Semifinals. Brownstown Woodhaven has been very impressive including beating Birmingham Brother Rice in the regional finals and Warren De LaSalle in the State Quarterfinals. This should be a very interesting matchup with the winner playing Novi Detroit Catholic Central or Mattawan in the Division One State Finals.
Softball
Northville vs Howell at Ypsilanti Lincoln
The Mustangs are going to be a future OAA member in two years, but they have a great shot to get to Michigan State after knocking out the defending State Champs in Saline 2-1. Northville will have a familiar opponent in Kensington Lakes Athletic Association rival Howell. This should be a very interesting quarterfinal with the winner getting Livonia Stevenson or Walled Lake Northern in the Division One State Semifinals at Michigan State.
