Here is my updated top 23 teams around the OAA.
Here are the rankings.
1. West Bloomfield (3-1): Lakers are figuring things out. Need to develop the bench and soon if they want to have a deep postseason run.
2. Stoney Creek (3-2): Ah what happened against Macomb L’Anse Creuse North Cougars???
3. Clarkston (2-2): Wolves are back to 500 and a big reason is Maddie
Skourpski but they need to find that Robin to help Skourpski.
4. Lake Orion (4-1): Dragons are 3-1 against the Red, that’s
impressive.
5. Oxford (1-1): It’s awesome to see the Wildcats back on the court.
6. Rochester (2-2): Alice Max and Kiely Robinson have had very strong starts for the Falcons.
7. North Farmington (3-1): Sela Lefler and Penelope Creary have been the keys to the Raiders success.
8. Berkley (1-2): Ashley Loon is going to need some help if the Bears want to make some noise.
9. Adams (2-1): Highlanders are in a very interesting spot heading into league play.
10. Troy Athens (3-3): Red Hawks have won three straight since the 0-3 start.
11. Troy (2-3): Colts really miss Alyssa Matuza. It's a big reason why they are struggling.
12. Groves (4-2): Falcons need Kaitlyn Sanders to be that go to person in the clutch.
13. Seaholm (2-1): The rust got to the Maples and it showed against their arch rivals on Sunday night.
14. Royal Oak (0-4): Ravens got to find some offense to go with that great defense.
15. Farmington (1-2): Brie Burns has become the Robin for the Falcons.
16. Bloomfield Hills (2-2): Ashley Forner has been the key to the Blackhawks success.
17. Harper Woods (3-0): Pioneers haven’t really been tested yet despite their record.
18. Ferndale University (2-0): 113-13 in the last two games for the Eagles is very good but it’s against not the greatest competition.
19. Southfield Arts and Tech (4-1): The Warriors haven't really been tested despite the blowouts and the only game they were tested they were blown out by Lake Fenton. I'm not sure if they are ready for the Red.
20. Oak Park (1-2): Knights haven’t scored over 25 points in a game is very concerning.
21. Avondale (0-4): Yellow Jackets need someone besides Reigan Lawrence and Savannah Schmidt to step up.
22. Pontiac (0-1): Phoenix have two games after Christmas Break which is very interesting.
23. Ferndale (0-3): It’s going to take time for the Eagles to develop their program.
