Here is my top 23 rankings for this week. Boys will be updated on Saturday.
1. West Bloomfield (9-1): Davis sisters have been rolling as of late for the Lakers.
2. Clarkston (5-3): Maddy Skourpski can’t be stopped.
3. Stoney Creek (6-4): Mia Carson is the wildcard for the Cougars.
4. Lake Orion (9-1): Chloe Wiegers has started to emerge for the Dragons.
5. Rochester (7-2): Alice Max has really played well for the Falcons.
6. Seaholm (6-2): I give props to the Maples for booking a really good team on short notice.
7. Harper Woods (8-0): January 25th is when we will know a lot about the Pioneers.
8. North Farmington (6-4): Sela Lefler really fixes a ton of the Raiders issues.
9. Oxford (3-3): Wildcats haven’t been the same since Peyton Richter got hurt.
10. Troy Athens (4-7): Gillian Ciak has been the key for the Red Hawks.
11. Groves (6-4): Ah what happened to the Falcons this week???
12. Troy (4-7): Kendal Zeiter starting to turn things around a little bit.
13. Adams (3-4): Abbey Drahnak has really been the key for the Highlanders success.
14. Farmington (4-4): Falcons are turning things around a little bit.
15. Royal Oak (2-7): Ravens have been playing much better lately.
16. Berkley (2-5): Bears need more help for Ashley Loon.
17. Ferndale University (4-1): Eagles were blown out Friday night. It could be a sign of things to come???
18. Bloomfield Hills (2-6): Blackhawks have a young nucleus and is getting better.
19. Southfield Arts and Tech (4-7): The Warriors are your classic Superman.
20. Pontiac (1-4): Phoenix haven’t been the same team since the New Year.
21. Oak Park (1-3): Knights are in COVID protocol.
22. Avondale (1-6): Savannah Schmidt needs to be that wildcard for the Yellow Jackets.
23. Ferndale (0-8): It has been a rough go for the Eagles.
