BLOOMFIELD HILLS @ Brighton
THOUGHTS/INSIGHT: This is a road game for the Blackhawks in the Division One State Semifinals on Wednesday night with the winner playing either Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern or Hartland on Saturday afternoon. Bloomfield Hills is coming of a 16-5 regional final victory over Grosse Pointe South on Friday night prior to that game they beat Birmingham 18-14 in the regional semifinals last week. Brighton hasn’t really been tested in the postseason. Northville was the only team that came close to the Bulldogs in the regional semifinals 18-10. Brighton won 24-5 over Livonia Stevenson in the regional finals.
PICK: It’s a home game for Brighton however Bloomfield Hills has been here before. I don’t think the Bulldogs have been tested as the Blackhawks were against Birmingham in the regional semifinals. I think Bloomfield Hills gets this done and heads to the Division One State Finals.
