West Bloomfield: The Lakers went on the road and picked up a huge 42-28 win over Southfield Arts and Tech on Friday night. Kenny Jones added two touchdowns and Semaj Morgan added a pick six in the game. West Bloomfield has Utica Eisenhower looming next week.
Adams: The Highlanders earned a 20-6 win over Harper Woods on Friday night. Parker Picot added two touchdowns in the game. Adams has Sterling Heights Stevenson looming at Runkel Field next week.
Clarkston: The Wolves made a statement in Lapeer on Friday night stunning the then unbeaten Lightning 48-13 on their homecoming. Ethan Clark had four touchdowns including three in the first quarter along with 104 rushing yards. Steven Kussank had two passing touchdowns and Desman Stephans added an interception. Clarkston has Oak Park looming next week.
Lake Orion: The Dragons had a dominating performance on both sides of the football with a 42-7 blowout of North Farmington on Friday night. Billy Robertson had two rushing scores and Tristian Hill added two passing scores as well and Dorian Hill added two scores as well. Lake Orion controls their own destiny and they have Saline looming next week.
Stoney Creek: The Cougars earned a hard fought 43-22 win over Rochester on Friday night. Stoney Creek still controls their own destiny but they need to win out. They have New Baltimore Anchor Bay looming next week.
Oxford: The Wildcats offense has been a big problem all season long. They had a really tough 7-3 loss to Bloomfield Hills on Friday night. Jay Kady had a field goal in the game but the offense has been a struggle and they didn’t have Dominic Cassisse as he was out with an injury. They have scored 23 total points in the last five weeks. Oxford concludes their season against Chippewa Valley next week.
Southfield Arts and Tech: The Warriors had a tough 42-28 loss to West Bloomfield on Friday night. Isisah Marshall did everything he could for Southfield Arts and Tech but it wasn’t enough. The Warriors have River Rouge looming next week.
Harper Woods: The Pioneers had a tough loss to Adams on Friday night 20-6. Harper Woods has a tall task ahead of them with Roseville looming next week.
Groves: The Falcons bounced back by blowing out Berkley 56-7 at Hurley Field on Friday night. Groves has arch rival Seaholm looming next week.
Rochester: The Falcons city woes continue on Friday night as they fell 43-22 to Stoney Creek. Rochester needs to bounce back and they have Detroit Renaissance looming next week.
Bloomfield Hills: The Blackhawks earned a hard fought 7-3 win over Oxford on Friday night. Bloomfield Hills has North Farmington looming next week.
Oak Park: The Knights had a tough loss to Orchard Lake St. Marys falling 45-20 on Friday night. Oak Park has Clarkston looming next week.
Seaholm: The Maples were stunned on Friday night by Seaholm falling 39-21 to Farmington. Seaholm was outscored 32-7 in the second half. The Maples needs to bounce back and quick. Seaholm has arch rival Groves looming next week.
North Farmington: The Raiders were blown out by Lake Orion on Friday night 42-7. North Farmington saw quarterback Ryan Shelby get benched but they struggled against the Dragons defense throughout the game. They have their homecoming with Bloomfield Hills looming next week.
Farmington: The Falcons shared the Blue with Seaholm winning 39-21 on Friday night. Farmington is rolling right now especially the play of Dominick Peshi and Cameron Pettaway. Keshawn Wilson added three touchdowns in the game. They have Utica looming next week.
Troy: The Colts defense has been really good all season but the offense finally clicked against their arch rivals on Friday night as Troy beat Troy Athens 27-6. Parker Brandenburg was solid while Darius Whiteside and Nolan Block also had big nights. They also forced five turnovers as well. The Colts have Fraser looming next week.
Troy Athens: The Red Hawks postseason hopes took a hit as they fell 27-6 to arch rival Troy on Friday night. Troy Athens had five turnovers which hurt them in the game. They have Utica Ford II looming next week.
Berkley: The Bears had a really rough game with Groves falling 56-7 on Friday night at Hurley Field. Berkley has St. Clair Shores Lakeview looming next week.
Avondale: The Yellow Jackets kept the momentum going with a 42-0 win over Royal Oak at Dick Bye Field on Friday night. Avondale has Warren Fitzgerald looming next week.
Royal Oak: The Ravens have had things very rough lately. They fell 42-0 for the second straight week to Avondale on Friday night. Royal Oak has been outscored 84-0 in the last two weeks. They have Madison Heights Lamphere looming next week.
Pontiac: The Phoenix fell 60-6 to Ferndale falling to 0-8 on Friday night. Pontiac has Garden City looming next week.
Ferndale: The Eagles had no problem with Pontiac winning 60-6 and winning the Gold crown outright. Ferndale has some work to do if they want to make the postseason. They have St. Clair Shores Lake Shores looming next week.
