Girls Basketball Top 23.

Here is the top 23 for Girls Basketball for the week.

1. West Bloomfield (17-2): Lakers have been really good all season.

2. Rochester (15-3): Falcons overcame their city obstacle but can they overcome their district obstacle??

3. Lake Orion (15-3): Dragons gearing up for the postseason.

4. North Farmington (19-0): Raiders needed everything and then some to survive at Royal Oak.

5. Oxford (15-3): Wildcats have been able to adjust to life without Nevaeh Wood.

6. Clarkston (10-9): Curious to see how the long layoff affects the Wolves.

7. Stoney Creek (12-6): Cougars did almost everything right in the Crosstown Showdown.

8. Bloomfield Hills (14-2): Blackhawks toughest week looms.

9. Berkley (8-8): Bears have been up and down but they have shown some resilience.

10. Royal Oak (11-7): Ravens have started to play better after a tough stretch.

11. Harper Woods (9-6): It’s starting to get harder to trust the Pioneers.

12. Southfield Arts and Tech (4-13): It was a rough week for the Warriors.

13. Farmington (9-7): Falcons need to win some non conference games if they want to make some noise.

14. Oak Park (9-7): Knights have been playing better lately.

15. Groves (5-13): Falcons finally snapped the nine game losing skid with win over Troy.

16. Seaholm (5-12): Maples are 1-4 in their last five games.

17. Troy Athens (7-11): February has not been kind to the Red Hawks.

18. Adams (2-16): It’s been a rough year for the Highlanders but better days are ahead.

19. Avondale (5-13): Yellow Jackets have been a really hard team to figure out.

20. Ferndale (5-5): Not a big fan when seeing a team having to forfeit a game.

21. Troy (3-16): Colts have lost 15 straight games.

22. Ferndale University (2-13): Eagles have really had things rough.

23. Pontiac (0-16): 22 points is the most the Phoenix scored this season.
