West Bloomfield: The Lakers have had a really strong two weeks after winning 50-6 on Friday night. West Bloomfield could have two home postseason games which would be very interesting to watch next week.
Lake Orion: The Dragons earned a 35-28 win over Saline on Friday night. The defense in the second half was the story and the offense clicked at right time. Lake Orion is rolling into the postseason with a ton of confidence right now.
Clarkston: The Wolves have not been the same team since the Lake Orion game. They fell 36-19 to Utica Eisenhower on Friday night at Sweinhart. Clarkston has allowed 102 points in three weeks. That’s not a great sign for the Wolves heading into the postseason.
Adams: The Highlanders have rolled in the last three weeks with an impressive 37-13 win over Sterling Heights Stevenson on Friday night. Adams could get a home postseason game. They have put themselves in a great position to do so.
Oxford: The Wildcats are in the postseason with an 24-21 win over Detroit University-Detroit Jesuit on Friday night at Wildcat Stadium. Oxford most likely head to Davison or Lake Orion next week.
Stoney Creek: The Cougars closed the season strong with a 24-23 win over New Baltmore Anchor Bay in New Baltimore on Friday night. Stoney Creek should be a very interesting team to watch this offseason to see what they do.
Southfield Arts and Tech: The Warriors bounced back after a rough loss to West Bloomfield by winning 41-14 over Detroit Renaissance on Friday night. Southfield Arts and Tech will be a team to watch in the postseason.
Harper Woods: The Pioneers earned a 24-7 win over Roseville on Friday night. Harper Woods should be a contender in the postseason especially in Division Four. It would be very interesting to see who they get going forward.
Groves: The Falcons had a tough 21-14 loss to Seaholm on Friday night. Groves will be fine especially with being in the postseason.
Farmington: The Falcons lost a tough on to Utica 34-30 at Sweinhart on Thursday night. Farmington played much better in this game than they did in the last few weeks when they played some powerhouse programs. The Falcons head into the offseason with some questions but also optimism as well.
Bloomfield Hills: The Blackhawks won a wild game with North Farmington 50-49 in triple overtime on Friday night. Bloomfield Hills will have something to look forward to heading into next season.
Rochester: The Falcons earned a 31-10 win over Walled Lake Northern to close the season strong. Rochester should be much improved next season. They will be a team to watch.
Seaholm: The Maples earned a big 21-14 win over arch rival Groves on Friday night. They could meet again in the postseason. It will be something to watch that is for sure.
North Farmington: The Raiders had a botch snap in the third overtime which decided their 50-49 triple overtime loss to Bloomfield Hills on Friday night costing themselves a trip to the postseason. There will be a ton of questions for Coach Jon Herstein and North Farmington this offseason.
Oak Park: The Knights fell 50-6 to West Bloomfield in the Swamp costing them a trip to the postseason. Oak Park had a ton of ups and downs this season. They will be a team to watch this offseason.
Troy: The Colts fell on a heartbreaker to Fraser 20-19 on Friday night costing them a trip to the postseason. Troy will have a ton of questions to address this offseason that is for sure.
Troy Athens: The Red Hawks lost a tough one at
Runkel Field to Utica Ford II 21-13 on Friday night. Troy Athens has a ton of questions this offseason.
Ferndale: The Eagles earned a 32-6 win over St. Clair Shores Lake Shore on Friday night. Ferndale will be a very interesting team to watch next season.
Avondale: The Yellow Jackets are gearing up for the postseason with a 50-20 win over Warren Fitzgerald on Friday night. Avondale could go in so many ways come the postseason. Coach Bob Meyer couldn’t care less where his Yellow Jackets would be next week.
Berkley: The Bears lost a tough one 42-10 to St. Clair Shores Lakeview at Hurley Field on Friday night. There are so many questions for Berkley next season.
Royal Oak: The Ravens lost a tough one 20-0 to Madison Heights Lamphere on Friday night. Coach Collin Campbell has this team heading in the right direction which is a good sign. Royal Oak has an identity heading into next season and that’s big for them.
Pontiac: The Phoenix fell 40-6 to Garden City
on Friday night but Coach Wendell Jefferson has this program heading in the
right direction. They won three games which was the most since 2011. Pontiac
needs to keep this momentum going heading into next season.
