WIN OF THE WEEK: Adams: The Highlanders showed why they can close games with an impressive 28-10 win over Clarkston. Ryland Watters had two touchdowns for Adams. The Highlanders defense shut down the Bowman twins all game. Adams has Lake Orion looming next week.
WHAT IN THE BLUE WORLD: Troy Athens: The Red Hawks have fallen on dark times after falling 36-10 to Farmington on Friday night. The defense is a big problem for Coach Tom Cook’s team. The Red Hawks have North Farmington looming next week.
TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Stoney Creek: The Cougars played much better on Friday night in Wayne County but fell 28-21 after giving up a touchdown with five seconds in the game. It’s a tough loss but Stoney Creek is showing progress. They have Southfield Arts and Tech looming next week.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Southfield Arts and Tech: The Warriors aren’t the same team since the Flint Beecher game. They have been outscored 125-14 since that game. Southfield Arts and Tech has Stoney Creek looming next week.
