Bloomfield Hills has their new girls basketball coach.
The Blackhawks named Renardo Brown as their new head coach taking over for Coach Kristen Massey who stepped down during the summer.
The MHSAA website confirmed the move.
Brown was an assistant under Massey. He was the head coach at Franklin Road before coming to Bloomfield Hills.
They won the district over Seaholm but fell to Stoney Creek in the regional semifinals last season.
The Blackhawks have Brianna Young, Brianna Brooks, and Giselle Haddad coming back for Brown. Program strength looks to also be solid as well.
Bloomfield Hills is in a very tough district with Groves, Seaholm, Birmingham Marian, Southfield Arts and Tech, and North Farmington. They are also in the White with Groves, Seaholm, Bloomfield Hills, Royal Oak, Rochester, and Troy.
It will be very interesting to see what happens this season with the Blackhawks.
