WEATHER FORECAST: THURSDAY: Sunny lows 50-54 degrees. FRIDAY: Sunny lows 50-54 degrees.

Southfield Arts and Tech at 1. Groves: (Thursday) These are two teams that are heading in opposite directions. The Falcons have been rolling on all three phases which included a 37-0 win over South Lyon last week. The Warriors have scored 20 total points in league which included a 49-6 loss to Harper Woods last week. This could be a long evening for Southfield Arts and Tech this week.

SANDY DUNES: GROVES 63, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 0.

TIM: GROVES 77, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 0.

COTTER: GROVES 42, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 0.

KEITH: GROVES 35, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 7.

SCOTT: GROVES 31, SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 12.

2. Clarkston at 6. Lake Orion: (Friday) This are some really interesting storylines especially with what happened last season. Lake Orion won the regular season meeting 42-21 gaining the Red crown. Clarkston returned the favor and stunned Lake Orion 38-37 in the postseason. This has happened multiple times in this rivalry where one won the regular season matchup while the other has lost, it has happened only three that one has beaten the other twice in a single season (Clarkston 2009, 2018, Lake Orion 2005.) Clarkston has won 14 of the last 16 meetings since 2010. The storylines this season are evident. It's Lake Orion's homecoming, no one knows what the Dragons mindset is after seeing their defense allow 35 points in the second half in a 49-41 loss to West Bloomfield. The offense has played really well behind TR Hill and a stout offensive line. The Wolves had no issue winning 36-7 over Troy Athens. Alex Wazczenko has been solid all season while the Bowman twins have been themselves. It should be a very interesting matchup but the Dragons defense could be the storyline to watch in this game.

SANDY DUNES: LAKE ORION 38, CLARKSTON 35.

TIM: CLARKSTON 35, LAKE ORION 28.

COTTER: LAKE ORION 35, CLARKSTON 28.

KEITH: LAKE ORION 35, CLARKSTON 31.

SCOTT: CLARKSTON 30, LAKE ORION 27.

3. Oxford at 4. West Bloomfield: (Thursday) The Lakers had to play their best game and got it in a hard fought 49-41 win over Lake Orion last week. The Wildcats have been playing really well as of late. They came from 17-6 down in the fourth quarter to stun Adams 18-17 last week. If it's a fast game advantage West Bloomfield, slow game favors Oxford. Both teams know what they are playing for in the Swamp.

SANDY DUNES: WEST BLOOMFIELD 49, OXFORD 21.

TIM: WEST BLOOMFIELD 49, OXFORD 42.

COTTER: WEST BLOOMFIELD 28, OXFORD 21.

KEITH: WEST BLOOMFIELD 31, OXFORD 28.

SCOTT: WEST BLOOMFIELD 40, OXFORD 36.

5. Seaholm at 8. North Farmington: (Thursday) This is a big game for the Raiders if they want to have any claim at the Blue crown. The Maples clinched a share of the Blue with an impressive 38-7 win over Troy last week. North Farmington has won four straight since an 0-2 start. This should be a really interesting matchup at Ron Holland Field and on Farmington TV-10 as well.

SANDY DUNES: SEAHOLM 20, NORTH FARMINGTON 17.

TIM: SEAHOLM 28, NORTH FARMINGTON 14.

COTTER: SEAHOLM 21, NORTH FARMINGTON 12.

KEITH: SEAHOLM 21, NORTH FARMINGTON 10.

SCOTT: SEAHOLM 33, NORTH FARMINGTON 21.

Stoney Creek at 7. Adams: (Friday) These are two teams that are going in opposite directions. Stoney Creek is coming off an emotional 22-21 overtime win over Rochester and has been gaining confidence every week under new coach Rick Powell who was the defensive coordinator at Lake Orion when Adams last lost at home. The Highlanders have lost two straight including a controversial 18-17 loss to Oxford last week so there are questions when it comes to the mental sickie of Coach Tony Patritto's team. This should be a really interesting game and it determines who runs the city of Rochester in football.

SANDY DUNES: STONEY CREEK 24, ADAMS 21.

TIM: ADAMS 42, STONEY CREEK 14.

COTTER: ADAMS 31, STONEY CREEK 7.

KEITH: ADAMS 24, STONEY CREEK 17.

SCOTT: ADAMS 20, STONEY CREEK 13.

Berkley at 9. Avondale: (Thursday) The Yellow Jackets have won four straight games since starting 0-2 after an impressive 41-3 blowout of Royal Oak last week. They get a Bears team that was physically dominated by Jackson Northwest falling 35-12 to the Mounties. Berkley has played much better as of late despite that loss to Jackson Northwest but Avondale is clicking on all cylinders right now.

SANDY DUNES: AVONDALE 49, BERKLEY 12.

TIM: AVONDALE 42, BERKLEY 14.

COTTER: AVONDALE 24, BERKLEY 14.

KEITH: AVONDALE 27, BERKLEY 7.

SCOTT: AVONDALE 37, BERKLEY 22.

10. Harper Woods at Rochester: (Friday) This is a huge game for both teams when it comes to the postseason. The Pioneers looked locked in Division Four to get into the postseason playing a really tough schedule and getting a 49-6 win over Southfield Arts and Tech last week. They will be tested by a Falcons team who is coming off a really tough 22-21 loss to Stoney Creek last week. Harper Woods wants to forget the last time they went to Rochester two years ago. It should be a really interesting game.

SANDY DUNES: HARPER WOODS 35, ROCHESTER 31.

TIM: HARPER WOODS 42, ROCHESTER 35.

COTTER: HARPER WOODS 24, ROCHESTER 14.

KEITH: HARPER WOODS 28, ROCHESTER 20.

SCOTT: HARPER WOODS 38, ROCHESTER 26.

Farmington at Troy: (Thursday) This is a big game for both teams when it comes to the postseason. The Falcons are coming off an impressive 35-7 win at Bloomfield Hills last week. The Colts are coming off a stunning 38-7 loss to Seaholm last week. Troy has lost three of their last four games which is very concerning when it comes to the postseason. Farmington has been up and down lately but have seem to be picking back up again. This should be a really interesting game.

SANDY DUNES: TROY 28, FARMINGTON 21.

TIM: TROY 21, FARMINGTON 7.

COTTER: TROY 17, FARMINGTON 14.

KEITH: TROY 20, FARMINGTON 14.

SCOTT: TROY 23, FARMINGTON 20.

Troy Athens at Bloomfield Hills: (Thursday) These are two teams that have had very disappointing seasons and sit at 1-5 and 0-4 in league play. The Red Hawks are coming off a 36-7 loss to Clarkston last week. The Blackhawks are coming off a 35-7 loss to Farmington last week. Someone will get their second win and first league win of the season this week.

SANDY DUNES: TROY ATHENS 28, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 14.

TIM: TROY ATHENS 28, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 7.

COTTER: TROY ATHENS 21, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 14.

KEITH: TROY ATHENS 24, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 23.

SCOTT: TROY ATHENS 23, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 22.

Pontiac at Royal Oak: (Friday) These are two teams that are having rough seasons. The Phoenix fell 37-0 to Ferndale and have really struggled with injuries all season long. The Ravens were shocked 41-3 by Avondale last week. Royal Oak was better defensively until last week. Pontiac has not been the same team since the Detroit Fredrick Douglass game. Someone will get a league win this week while the loser finishes in last place.

SANDY DUNES: ROYAL OAK 21, PONTIAC 6.

TIM: ROYAL OAK 10, PONTIAC 7.

COTTER: ROYAL OAK 35, PONTIAC 6.

KEITH: ROYAL OAK 31, PONTIAC 10.

SCOTT: ROYAL OAK 24, PONTIAC 21.

Lapeer at Oak Park: (Friday) This is an extremely critical game for the Knights if they want to be a postseason. The Lightning are juicy when it comes to playoff points but they haven't played up to Lapeer levels. The Lightning have lost two straight including a 35-21 home loss to Grand Blanc last week. Oak Park lost 19-18 to North Farmington last week. It's a huge game for the Knights as mentioned but it's also a huge game for the Lightning to get back on track as well. I wonder if WNEM TV 5, NBC 25, or ABC 12 will be willing to make the trip to Knight Valley???

SANDY DUNES: LAPEER 31, OAK PARK 18.

TIM: LAPEER 49, OAK PARK 7.

COTTER: LAPEER 42, OAK PARK 12.

KEITH: LAPEER 28, OAK PARK 13.

SCOTT: LAPEER 35, OAK PARK 25.

Ferndale at Pontiac Notre Dame Prep: (Friday) This is a golden opportunity for the Eagles to get some big postseason points but it won't be easy. The Fighting Irish have been dominant and it's their homecoming this week. Pontiac Notre Dame Prep is coming off an impressive 57-26 win at Reed City and already has a 52-28 win over Troy two weeks ago. Ferndale is coming off a 37-0 win over Pontiac and it's their second trip back to the city but this will be a much tougher challenge as mentioned.

SANDY DUNES: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 48, FERNDALE 14.

TIM: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 49, FERNDALE 0.

COTTER: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 49, FERNDALE 7.

KEITH: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 35, FERNDALE 14.

SCOTT: PONTIAC NOTRE DAME PREP 34, FERNDALE 23.
