Colts win Division One
The Troy Colts won the OAA's first State Championship of 2025-2026 on Saturday scoring 32 points and edging fellow OAA league member Bloomfield Hills who was second with 22 points in the Division One Boys Tennis State Finals.
Adams was tied for fifth with 12 points, Troy Athens and Rochester were tied for ninth with eight points, Stoney Creek was tied for 14th with seven points, and Clarkston was 17th with six points.
The Colts had numerous champions in the doubles side of the tournament and was solid on the singles side which is why they won the crown as a team. The Black Hawks also had numerous State Champions as well and had a strong outing as well.
Troy delivers the league's first crown of the school year and it may not the be the last for the league.
Maples Win Division Two
The Maples earned their first ever State Championship in Division Two and the second state championship for the OAA.
Seaholm scored 31 points edging out Byron Center who was second place with 26 points while Midland Dow was third was 22 points, and Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern was fourth with 21 points.
Groves was tied for seventh with 14 points, Berkley was tied for 10th with eight points.
Seaholm had two individual winners along with a doubles winner which gave the Maples their first ever State crown.
