Regional 8 at Adams

ADAMS

ROCHESTER

STONEY CREEK

AVONDALE

BERKLEY

GROVES

SEAHOLM

SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH

BLOOMFIELD HILLS

OAK PARK

ROYAL OAK

TROY

Birmingham Brother Rice (Boys only)

Detroit U-D Jesuit (Boys only)

Detroit Renaissance

BOYS THOUGHTS: This will come down to Oak Park, Adams, Rochester, and Detroit Renaissance. These schools have great chances to make some noise.

GIRLS THOUGHTS: It's going to be really hard to beat Oak Park but Rochester could have a strong say if they can match up especially in the mid distance, sprints, and relays. The Falcons have more balance but also Adams could match up as well. The Knights are favored but they have challengers in Rochester and the Highlanders

Regional 9 at Milford

Milford

CLARKSTON

LAKE ORION

OXFORD

FARMINGTON

NORTH FARMINGTON

WEST BLOOMFIELD

WATERFORD KETTERING

WATERFORD MOTT

Novi Detroit Catholic Central (Boys only)

Holly

Lapeer

Walled Lake Central

Walled Lake Northern

Walled Lake Western

Lakeland

Farmington Hills Mercy (Girls only)

BOYS THOUGHTS: Farmington is the favorite along with Walled Lake Central. Lake Orion is the wildcard while Clarkston is the dark horse.

GIRLS THOUGHTS: Lake Orion has won the last two regionals, Clarkston, Milford and Walled Lake Central should be the challengers trying to deny the Dragons a three peat.

Regional 10 at Romeo

Romeo

TROY ATHENS

Chippewa Valley

Fraser

Macomb Dakota

Macomb L'Anse Creuse

Macomb L'Anse Creuse North

Port Huron

Port Huron Northern

St. Clair Shores Lake Shore

Sterling Heights

Sterling Heights Stevenson

Utica

Utica Eisenhower

Utica Ford

New Baltimore Anchor Bay

BOYS THOUGHTS: This could come down to Troy Athens or Romeo that could win this regional. Macomb Dakota looks to be the dark horse along with Chippewa Valley who has the sprints and is the wildcard.

GIRLS THOUGHTS: Troy Athens has a great chance to make some noise in this regional but Romeo might have a say as does New Baltimore Anchor Bay along with Macomb Dakota. This is anyone's regional to take.

Regional 18 at Oakland University, host Birmingham Marian

Birmingham Marian (Girls only)

FERNDALE

FERNDALE UNIVERSITY

HARPER WOODS

Harper Woods Chandler Park Academy

Center Line

Detroit Country Day

Detroit East English Prep

Detroit Henry Ford

Eastpointe

Grosse Pointe North

Hazel Park

Madison Heights Lamphere

Warren Fitzgerald

Warren Lincoln

Warren DeLaSalle (Boys only)

Warren Regina (Girls only)

BOYS THOUGHTS: This should be a very interesting matchup. Harper Woods and Ferndale could have says but Birmingham Detroit Country Day will be too much.

GIRLS THOUGHTS: It's going to be tough for anyone to beat Birmingham Detroit Country Day in this regional. Ferndale might have the best chance but they don't have a ton of balance to pull it off.

Regional 19 at North Branch

North Branch

PONTIAC

Armada

Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood

Goodrich

Imlay City

Orchard Lake St. Mary's

Pontiac Notre Dame Prep

Macomb Lutheran North

Brandon

Richmond

Yale

St. Clair

Croswell-Lexington

Marysville

BOYS THOUGHTS: Orchard Lake St. Marys is loaded but Goodrich, Croswell-Lexington could have strong says. This meet should be tight.

GIRLS THOUGHTS: This should be a balanced meet between Goodrich, Orchard Lake St. Marys, and Yale. I think the Martians have the balance but never count the Bulldogs or the Eaglets out.

Davison and Grand Blanc would be great fits for the OAA.
