Here is the top 24 in girls basketball for the week. 

1. West Bloomfield 8-3, 3-1 Red (636): Sheridan Beal is the real deal.

2. Stoney Creek 9-1, 3-0 Red (631): Cougars keep gaining confidence as the season goes along.

3. Clarkston 10-4, 3-0 Red (630): Elliana Robak has been playing well recently.

4. Groves 8-2, 4-0 White (607): Congrats on 1,000 career points Harlem Simpson.

5. Bloomfield Hills 7-2, 4-0 White (605): Still trying to figure out how the Black Hawks are good this season.

6. Rochester 6-4, 1-2 Red (600): Falcons defense is still there, ask Stoney Creek.

7. Troy 7-2, 2-0 Blue (569): Colts starting to put it together.

8. Lake Orion 3-7, 0-3 Red (562): Young team with a very tough schedule doesn't make any sense.

9. Troy Athens 9-2, 2-0 Blue (554): Red Hawks still very dangerous despite postponements.

10. Oxford 4-6, 0-4 Red (551): 54 points against Clarkston is a start.

11. Adams 4-3, 1-1 Blue (510): Highlanders have shown a ton of progress under Coach Justin Howard. 

12. Seaholm 2-6, 1-2 White (495): Maples still have not gotten over 40 points this season.

13. North Farmington 9-1, 3-0 Gold (485): Raiders control their destiny in the Gold.

14. Southfield Arts and Tech 4-4, 0-1 Blue (478): Warriors will be fine despite the postponements.

15. Avondale 1-8, 0-5 White (471): Yellow Jackets are making progress despite record.

16. Farmington 7-4, 2-1 Gold (464): Falcons have been a hard team to figure out.

17. Waterford 5-6, 2-1 Gold (456): Waterford is still a hard team to figure out.

18. Harper Woods 3-2, 0-1 Blue (557): Not playing a game in two weeks is very concerning.

19. Ferndale University 7-3, 1-2 Gold (444): Eagles having a ton of trouble in the Gold.

20. Berkley 2-10, 1-3 White (440): Bears have shown signs of life on the offensive end in the last two games.

21. Royal Oak 5-6, 1-2 White (366): Ravens don't get any respect with the MPR.

22. Ferndale 0-2, 0-2 Blue (496): Scoring 12 points total and a high MPR doesn't make any sense.

23. Oak Park 2-4, 1-3 Gold (339): Knights are having trouble scoring lately.

24. Pontiac 1-8, 0-3 Gold (329): Phoenix showing signs of progress.
