Here is the baseball regional semifinal preview.

Region Eight @ Novi

Northville vs Novi Detroit Catholic Central

SAMMY THOUGHTS: This should be a fun matchup of two heavyweights in the State. Northville really wasn't too tested in their district while Novi Detroit Catholic Central survived the tough Novi district. The Mustangs are coming off their fifth straight district crown. This should be a fun matchup as mentioned with the winner getting DeWitt or Mason in the regional final at Northville.

Region 13 @ Milford

WEST BLOOMFIELD vs Milford

SAMMY THOUGHTS: This will be a very interesting matchup. Milford had to survive Walled Lake Central who in turn upset Lakeland. The Lakers have been battle tested so it will be very interesting with the winner playing Oxford or Swartz Creek in the regional final at Grand Blanc.

Region 16 @ Swartz Creek

OXFORD vs Swartz Creek

SAMMY THOUGHTS: The Wildcats were very impressive in beating Grand Blanc 15-5 in a district final in Grand Blanc now they head to Swartz Creek to take on the Dragons on their home field. Swartz Creek survived Fenton 4-3 in their district final. This will be a much tougher matchup with the winner getting West Bloomfield or Milford in the regional finals at Grand Blanc.

Region 15 @ Adams

ADAMS vs Romeo

SAMMY THOUGHTS: This is a very interesting matchup of two teams that have been rolling. Adams needed to survive Rochester in eight innings to get to this matchup. The Highlanders appear to be the better team on paper against Romeo but you never know. The winner will get either Utica Henry Ford II or Chippewa Valley at Grand Blanc in the regional finals.
