Week Six Rankings.

Written Friday September 25th at 11:50 PM

Here are the rankings for week six.

1. Clarkston: The Wolves are clicking on all cylinders after earning a hard fought 31-28 win over Oxford on Friday night. Clarkston is clicking right now. They have West Bloomfield looming next week.

2. Stoney Creek: The Cougars had a 49-10 impressive win over Troy Athens on Friday night. Stoney Creek really hasn't been tested in the last three weeks. They should be tested when they play Rochester next week.

3. Oxford: The Wildcats had a tough 31-28 loss to Clarkston on Friday night. Oxford will be fine despite this loss. They have Adams looming next week.

4. Harper Woods: The Pioneers sent a statement in the Blue after winning 41-13 in Beverly Hills over Groves on Friday night. Harper Woods has been rolling since falling 29-20 to Chelsea. The Pioneers have their mojo back.

5. Ferndale: The Eagles are rolling right now after a stunning 74-0 statement win over Avondale on Friday night. Ferndale has outscored their last three opponents 171-0 in the last three weeks. They have Pontiac looming next week.

6. Adams: The Highlanders forced turnovers and got the break they needed and beat Lake Orion 21-17 on Friday night. Adams is a young team and they needed this one after getting humiliated by Clarkston 45-0 two weeks ago. They have Oxford looming next week.

7. Rochester: The Falcons are a team that has benefited from playing in the White after winning 37-3 over Troy on Friday night. Rochester is riding with a ton of confidence right now. They have Troy Athens looming next week.

8. Lake Orion: The Dragons took a very bad 21-17 loss to Adams on their home field on Friday night. Penalties and offensive mistakes proved to be the difference. Lake Orion still controls its destiny when it comes to the postseason, but they are on the outside looking in when it comes to the postseason picture. The Dragons need to get back to the drawing board and fix some things.

9. Seaholm: The Maples took a tough 14-13 loss to Groves last week but got a huge 21-20 win over Oak Park last week. Seaholm has turned things around a little bit. They have Southfield Arts and Tech looming next week.

10. Groves: The Falcons took a tough 41-13 loss to Harper Woods on Friday night on their home field. Groves has been a hard team to figure out after getting outscored 25-6 in the second half by the Pioneers. They have Oak Park looming next week.
