Week Eleven Thoughts.

Adams: The Highlanders used the veer to perfection against Oxford on Friday night turning the game into a 42-7 blowout. Parker Picot added three rushing touchdowns and added a 30 yard passing score to Joey Shallow. Griffin Henke and Nick Paterra added rushing scores as well. Adams shut down the Oxford offense which had been very good and efficient lately. The Highlanders have a huge test in the regional finals when they play West Bloomfield in a very interesting rematch where they beat the Lakers in the Swamp 35-17. It should be very interesting to say the least.

West Bloomfield: The Lakers sent a statement that they can be disciplined as they beat Novi Detroit Catholic Central 35-21 on Friday night in the Swamp. Dillion Tatum had 29 carries for 180 yards and three touchdowns. Kenneth Jones added a four yard rushing score. Requan Nance had a monster game himself. He connected for a 28 yard touchdown pass to DeAngelo Thomas in the game. West Bloomfield has an very interesting matchup looming with Adams next week. The Highlanders beat the Lakers 35-17 in week one. It should be very interesting to say the least.

Oxford: The Wildcats were shell shocked against a very good Adams squad on Friday night. It was 42-7 Highlanders on Friday night. Brady Carpenter added a 35 yard passing score to Tate Myre which was their only scoring on the night. Oxford loses a ton of experience next season but they have a lot to be proud of heading into next season.
