Boys Basketball Top 23.

 Written Thursday December 30th at 10:00 PM

1. Clarkston (2-1): Wolves played really well from the long layoff.

2. Rochester (4-0): Matt Stone has been playing very well for the Falcons.

3. North Farmington (5-1): Raiders had an interesting week after coming back from protocol.

4. Ferndale (3-2): Eagles have played a tough schedule. Need this to get them ready for the postseason.

5. Bloomfield Hills (4-2): Blackhawks have lost two straight all be it they were to two good teams. They will be fine going forward.

6. Adams (3-2): Highlanders don’t want to see Ferndale’s gym again.

7. Berkley (4-1): Bears will be a very interesting team to watch heading into the New Year.

8. Oak Park (3-1): Derald Blackman and Ashton Henderson have been playing very well for the Knights.

9. Oxford (2-1): Bryce Essman has been outstanding for the Wildcats.

10. Troy (2-3): Colts have been reeling a little bit heading into the New Year.

11. Troy Athens (2-2): Red Hawks blew an eight point third quarter lead in a loss to Port Huron Northern. They are an interesting team to watch heading into the New Year.

12. Lake Orion (2-4): Could Coach Jose Andrades become the next Rick Bowness???

13. West Bloomfield (2-4): Mitchell Seay is the key for the Lakers heading into the New Year.

14. Groves (2-2): COVID-19 protocol kept the Falcons out of the North Farmington Extravaganza.

15. Harper Woods (1-3): Pioneers picked up a huge win. Could it get them ready for 2022???

16. Ferndale University (2-3): Coach Josh Nicks has the Eagles heading in the right direction.

17. Stoney Creek (2-3): Cougars lost a tough one but they are fine heading into the New Year.

18. Avondale (2-3): Yellow Jackets picked up a huge win. Hope this could get them running into the New Year.

19. Southfield Arts and Tech (2-5): Warriors have lost four straight games which is a concern heading into the New Year.

20. Seaholm (1-5): Maples are really struggling right now.

21. Royal Oak (2-3): Ravens have been playing much better despite the record.

22. Farmington (1-4): Falcons are in need of answers right now.

23. Pontiac (0-0): Phoenix not playing until January really concerns me.
