Girls Basketball Top 23.

Written Thursday December 30th at 10:05 PM

1. West Bloomfield (5-1): Lakers are rolling right now.

2. Stoney Creek (4-2): Cougars are back to their winning ways.

3. Clarkston (2-2): Maddie Skourpski has been playing lights out lately.

4. Lake Orion (5-1): Dragons defense is legit.

5. Oxford (1-1): Wildcats have been very competitive thus far.

6. Rochester (3-2): How does Scott Burnstein not rank the Falcons in the top 10 in Oakland County???

7. Berkley (2-2): Could Nolan Maeve be that Robin the Bears are looking for???

8. Groves (4-2): Hmm, Kaitlyn Sanders must have took my call out to heart.

9. North Farmington (3-3): It was a tough matchup for the Raiders against Macomb L’Anse Creuse North so there is a pass right there.

10. Seaholm (3-1): Maples starting to put things together which is a great sign.

11. Adams (2-2): Madison Kessman has emerged as the Highlanders top player right now.

12. Troy Athens (3-4): Red Hawks are a Jekyll and Hyde right now.

13. Harper Woods (3-0): Pioneers played tough in earning their first ever OAA win on Tuesday.

14. Troy (2-5): Colts had a really tough loss to Marysville.

15. Royal Oak (0-5): It’s going to be a struggle for the Ravens unless they can find some scoring.

16. Farmington (1-3): Falcons need to bounce back after a tough loss to Harper Woods on Tuesday.

17. Bloomfield Hills (2-2): Blackhawks should be an interesting team once the New Year starts.

18. Ferndale University (2-0): Eagles still haven’t passed the eyeball test yet.

19. Southfield Arts and Tech (4-4): Warriors stepped up and played in the Northville Holiday Classic. Got to give them props despite losing both games by blowouts.

20. Pontiac (1-1): Phoenix did not play on Wednesday. Wonder what’s going on???

21. Oak Park (1-2): Knights got postponed Tuesday night. They have to develop some offense if they want to make a move in the Blue.

22. Avondale (0-5): There are no words to describe the Yellow Jackets.

23. Ferndale (0-4): The rebuild has been much harder than thought for Coach Al Katolla.
