Here is the Top 23 rankings for Girls Basketball for the week.
1. West Bloomfield (14-1): Lakers gearing up for a postseason run but depth questions remain.
2. Clarkston (10-6): Congrats to Maddie Skourpski for scoring her 1,000 career point against WB.
3. Stoney Creek (12-5): Despite loss to West Bloomfield, Cougars are in fine shape.
4. Rochester (13-3): Despite loss to Oxford, Falcons are in fine shape.
5. Lake Orion (13-3): Despite loss to North Farmington, Dragons are in fine shape.
6. Berkley (9-5): Don’t look now, the Bears have won seven straight games.
7. North Farmington (10-7): Sela Lefler has really put the Raiders on her back.
8. Oxford (8-5): Allison Hufsteller has been good as advertised for the Wildcats.
9. Groves (9-7): Falcons have been a really odd team to figure out.
10. Seaholm (13-3): Maples are in a really good position to win the Blue.
11. Harper Woods (14-1): Pioneers are keeping pace but two tricky games with Avondale looms.
12. Farmington (7-7): Falcons starting to gain some momentum heading into the postseason.
13. Adams (4-10): Highlanders have lost six straight, that’s not a good sign going forward.
14. Troy (5-10): Charlotte Sobotka is the key for the Colts heading into the postseason.
15. Troy Athens (5-11): Red Hawks are 1-6 in their last seven games, that’s not good.
16. Avondale (5-8): Reigan Lawrence is about ready to take over for the Yellow Jackets.
17. Ferndale University (8-5): Eagles haven’t been the same team since league play started.
18. Southfield Arts and Tech (5-12): Warriors are 1-8 in their last nine games, that’s not good.
19. Bloomfield Hills (3-12): Blackhawks despite record is heading in the right direction.
20. Royal Oak (2-14): It’s been a very challenging year for the Ravens.
21. Pontiac (4-7): Phoenix starting to build some momentum a little bit.
22. Oak Park (2-10): Knights are in a really rough spot with six games in 12 days.
23. Ferndale (0-14): Eagles are really struggling right now.
