Here is my insight heading into the girls soccer regional finals.
ROCHESTER vs TROY ATHENS at Adams
This is a rematch of a 2-0 Falcons win over the Red Hawks earlier in the season. Rochester still hasn’t lost this season and is rolling. Troy Athens has lost some tough games though. The Red Hawks have gained more confidence since the loss to the Falcons. Rochester won 2-0 over New Baltimore Anchor Bay on Tuesday night while Troy Athens won 7-0 over Fraser. Expect this game to be tight on Thursday night.
BLOOMFIELD HILLS vs Hartland at Novi
This should be a very interesting matchup between the Blackhawks and the Eagles. Both teams are coming off 4-2 regional semifinal victories on Tuesday night. These two teams haven’t seen each other this season. Hartland has more experience coming into this game. Bloomfield Hills is playing with house money coming into this game on Thursday night. It should be an interesting regional final but the edge has to go to the Eagles because of experience as mentioned.
