STATEMENT WIN: Adams: The Highlanders sent a message to the Red that they are still around after beating West Bloomfield for the third straight time in two years with a 35-18 victory on Friday night. Nick Paterra had a touchdown run while Tanner Buck added two scores and Brady Prieskorn added two scores in the game. Parker Picot had a nice game as well. They have Oxford looming next week.
TOUGH LOSS: Harper Woods: The Pioneers are learning what life in the OAA is. Harper Woods fell 18-12 to Rochester on Friday night. They are 2-3 right now. The Pioneers have Groves looming next week.
WHAT HAPPENED??? Farmington: The Falcons league hopes took a hit on Friday night as they fell 16-14 to Troy on Friday night. Farmington needs to beat Seaholm next week if they want to get back in the Blue title conversation.
TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Oak Park: The Knights just cannot seem to catch a break. Oak Park fell to Bloomfield Hills 25-21 on Friday night falling to 0-5 on the season. They have a really tough schedule looming. The Knights need to turn things around and quick if they want to get out of this losing skid. They have Rochester looming next week.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Groves: It was going to be a tough one for the Falcons against Southfield Arts and Tech on Friday night but I didn't expect a 42-7 shocker in Beverly Hills. Groves struggled with the Warriors high octane offense and a surprising improving defense. They have Harper Woods looming next week.
