SANDY DUNES 31-12

COTTER 36-7

BURNEY 29-14

DUNLAP 29-14

STICK 33-10

TIM 32-11

1. West Bloomfield at 3. Lake Orion: This is a huge game between two 3-0 teams that have had their ups and downs on both sides of the football. Both teams are offensive machines and defenses have been effective despite each team allowing 33 points in one game. This could shape up to be a very similar game to 2019 and that was an instant classic. West Bloomfield has won 10 straight meetings coming into this game.

SANDY DUNES: LAKE ORION 45, WEST BLOOMFIELD 42.

COTTER: WEST BLOOMFIELD 38, LAKE ORION 35.

DUNLAP: LAKE ORION 35, WEST BLOOMFIELD 34.

STICK: WEST BLOOMFIELD over LAKE ORION.

BURNEY: LAKE ORION 26, WEST BLOOMFIELD 24.

TIM: WEST BLOOMFIELD 45, LAKE ORION 35.

6. Groves at 2. Southfield Arts and Tech: The Warriors past their second major test in the White with a 34-26 win over Harper Woods last week. Southfield Arts and Tech has been on a mission as of late. The Falcons had a 26-7 win over Farmington but Coach Brandon Flaherty was disappointed in his team. This is a big game for Groves and also for Southfield Arts and Tech as well when it comes to the White crown.

SANDY DUNES: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 48, GROVES 21.

COTTER: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 40, GROVES 14.

DUNLAP: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 24, GROVES 23.

STICK: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH over GROVES.

BURNEY: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 32, GROVES 29.

TIM: SOUTHFIELD ARTS AND TECH 42, GROVES 28.

4. Avondale at Ferndale: This should be the Gold crown between the Yellow Jackets and the Eagles. Ferndale did not play last week because of a COVID-19 outbreak at Pontiac. Avondale is coming off a 35-0 win at Berkley last week. These two are no strangers to each other. This should be a very interesting game in Ferndale this week.

SANDY DUNES: AVONDALE 35, FERNDALE 14.

COTTER: AVONDALE 28, FERNDALE 20.

DUNLAP: AVONDALE 27, FERNDALE 24.

STICK: AVONDALE over FERNDALE.

BURNEY: AVONDALE 33, FERNDALE 21.

TIM: AVONDALE 35, FERNDALE 21.

5. Seaholm at Berkley: The Maples are rolling and the Bears are struggling. Berkley has allowed 112 points in three games. Seaholm is back to being themselves after exploding for 56 points last week. This could be another long night for the home team at Hurley Field.

SANDY DUNES: SEAHOLM 56, BERKLEY 0.

COTTER: SEAHOLM 49, BERKLEY 0.

DUNLAP: SEAHOLM 21, BERKLEY 10.

STICK: SEAHOLM over BERKLEY

BURNEY: SEAHOLM 34, BERKLEY 18.

TIM: SEAHOLM 70, BERKLEY 0.

7. Clarkston at Stoney Creek: The Wolves picked up their first win of the season behind the play of Desman Stephens who set the tone in their 28-7 win over Adams last week. The Cougars were very impressive despite falling 40-33 to West Bloomfield. It’s Stoney Creek’s homecoming so this could be very interesting.

SANDY DUNES: STONEY CREEK 28, CLARKSTON 24.

COTTER: CLARKSTON 28, STONEY CREEK 21.

DUNLAP: CLARKSTON 28, STONEY CREEK 24.

STICK: CLARKSTON over STONEY CREEK.

BURNEY: CLARKSTON 35, STONEY CREEK 25.

TIM: CLARKSTON 35, STONEY CREEK 21.

Royal Oak at 8. Pontiac: The Phoenix should be back after having to miss last week’s game with Ferndale due to a COVID-19 outbreak. The Ravens lost 21-0 to Troy last week. This is a much different Pontiac team than Royal Oak is used to seeing.

SANDY DUNES: PONTIAC 56, ROYAL OAK 7.

COTTER: ROYAL OAK 21, PONTIAC 6.

DUNLAP: PONTIAC 23, ROYAL OAK 6.

STICK: PONTIAC over ROYAL OAK.

BURNEY: PONTIAC 30, ROYAL OAK 20.

TIM: PONTIAC 28, ROYAL OAK 0.

Oxford at 9. Adams: These are two teams that are coming off very tough losses. The Wildcats fell 38-14 to Lake Orion last week but they have a proven running back in Luke Johnson who had two touchdowns. The Highlanders fell 28-7 to Clarkston after falling 21-0 early and the Wolves didn’t look back. Oxford is mentally tough. Adams runs the veer offense and they have Matteo Humbert and Brady Prieskorn. It should be either Ryan Watters or Jack Hendrix will be key to winning this game in front of the Gold Rush.

SANDY DUNES: OXFORD 21, ADAMS 14.

COTTER: ADAMS 28, OXFORD 14.

DUNLAP: ADAMS 20, OXFORD 17.

STICK: ADAMS over OXFORD

BURNEY: ADAMS 31, OXFORD 25.

TIM: ADAMS 45, OXFORD 42.

Rochester at 10. Harper Woods: The Pioneers are coming off two tough losses to two very good teams. They should also be motivated after falling to Rochester last season. The Falcons earned their first win of the season by beating Bloomfield Hills 21-14 last week. This should be a very interesting matchup in Wayne County.

SANDY DUNES: HARPER WOODS 35, ROCHESTER 7.

COTTER: HARPER WOODS 32, ROCHESTER 7.

DUNLAP: HARPER WOODS 20, ROCHESTER 13.

STICK: HARPER WOODS over ROCHESTER.

BURNEY: HARPER WOODS 40, ROCHESTER 7.

TIM: HARPER WOODS 28, ROCHESTER 21.

Troy Athens at North Farmington: These are two teams that are struggling a little bit. The Raiders have really struggled defensively. North Farmington has allowed 134 points in three weeks which is rough. The Red Hawks is coming off a tough 30-24 overtime loss to Oak Park last week. This should be a very interesting matchup at Ron Holland Field.

SANDY DUNES: NORTH FARMINGTON 34, TROY ATHENS 21.

COTTER: NORTH FARMINGTON 26, TROY ATHENS 14.

DUNLAP: NORTH FARMINGTON 21, TROY ATHENS 20.

STICK: TROY ATHENS over NORTH FARMINGTON.

BURNEY: TROY ATHENS 27, NORTH FARMINGTON 23.

TIM: NORTH FARMINGTON 28, TROY ATHENS 21.

Bloomfield Hills at Farmington: These are two teams that are coming off tough losses. The Falcons fell 26-7 to Groves while the Blackhawks fell 21-14 last week to Rochester. Cam Pettaway looks to be in line for a bounce back game this week at Falcon Field. This game is interesting on paper but it could get very interesting on the field.

SANDY DUNES: FARMINGTON 28, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 7.

COTTER: FARMINGTON 28, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 14.

DUNLAP: BLOOMFIELD HILLS 17, FARMINGTON 14.

STICK: FARMINGTON over BLOOMFIELD HILLS.

BURNEY: FARMINGTON 37, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 14.

TIM: FARMINGTON 56, BLOOMFIELD HILLS 7.

Troy at Oak Park: The Colts have been rolling winning their first three games. They have not allowed a point in three games despite the competition they have played. Troy should be tested this week when they play Oak Park. The Knights have played a very tough schedule and they are coming off a monster 30-24 overtime win over Troy Athens. This should be a very interesting game.

SANDY DUNES: OAK PARK 24, TROY 20.

COTTER: OAK PARK 18, TROY 14.

DUNLAP: TROY 20, OAK PARK 3.

STICK: OAK PARK over TROY.

BURNEY: TROY 28, OAK PARK 23.

TIM: TROY 35, OAK PARK 28.
