The Clawson Trojans are coming back to the OAA.
The Trojans will be leaving the Macomb Area Conference in 2027 and rejoining the conference after leaving the league in 2005. Clawson also joins Novi and Northville who are also coming into the league at the same time.
The league confirmed the move on Friday according to several accurate sources.
Clawson is known for volleyball and girls basketball. The Trojans have been starting to become more consistent in football. They unify with Royal Oak, Berkley, and Ferndale to become M-1.
Clawson could reunite rivalries with Berkley, Royal Oak, Oak Park, and Ferndale.
The challenge for the Trojans will be is they will be the smallest school in the OAA.
It will be very interesting to see with the Trojans going forward in their final season in the Macomb Area Conference.
