Here are the Around the OAA Soccer Rankings to start the year.

1. Troy 3-0-0 1-0-0 Red- Colts sent strong statement to Clarkston and the Red that they are the class of the OAA.

2. Clarkston 2-1-0 0-1-0 Red- Despite Troy setback, two strong wins over East Kentwood and Grand Blanc.

3. Seaholm 6-0-1 1-0-0 Red- Strong wins and senior class helping the Maples.

4. Troy Athens 2-0-1 1-0-0 Red- Schedule only gets stronger for the Red Hawks.

5. Rochester 3-0-0 1-0-0 White- Big wins over Chippewa Valley and Bloomfield Hills. Could they be favored in the White.

6. Avondale 3-0-0 0-0-0 Blue- Big win over Hamtramck having them looking at great things in the Blue.

7. Berkley 1-1-3 0-0-1 Red- Lots of ties helping the Bears against stronger opponents.

8. Bloomfield Hills 3-1-1 0-0-1 Red- Strong showing at the Avondale Classic helping the Blackhawks.

9. Lake Orion 1-1-1 0-1-0 Red- Dragons slowly finding their way.

10. Adams 2-1-1 1-0-0 White- Despite Troy setback, a tie with LO and wins over Stoney and Oxford setting the tone.

11. Oxford 1-4-1 0-1-0 Red- Wildcats going through a rough patch right now despite playing very strong competition.

12. Royal Oak 1-1-0 1-0-0 White- Playing teams like Brighton will help the Ravens get better.

13. Ferndale 2-0-0 1-0-0 Blue- Strong win over Clarenceville could set the tone for the Eagles in the Blue.

14. Stoney Creek 1-3-3 0-1-0 White- A lot of ties helping the Cougars.

15. Groves 2-1-0 0-0-0 White- Despite LO setback, two very good wins especially over former member North Farmington.

16. West Bloomfield 0-1-2 0-1-0 White- Strong games against OL St. Mary's and Romeo will help the Lakers.

17. Mott 1-5-0 0-1-0 White- Corsairs need to figure things out and fast.

18. Kettering 1-3-1 0-0-0 Blue- Holly win hopefully will be the beginning of great things for the Captains.

19. Pontiac 2-3-0 0-0-0 Blue- Strong showings and a win over Mott. Phoenix may be better than what pundits think.

20. Oak Park 0-2-0 0-1-0 Blue- Knights fighting hard, all you can ask.

21. Southfield A&T 0-0-0 0-0-0 Blue- Season hasn't started yet.

22. Harper Woods 0-0-0 0-0-0 Blue- Season hasn't started yet.
