BIG WIN: Stoney Creek: The Cougars sent a statement that they are in it to win the city of Rochester championship with a 41-14 blowout of Rochester on Friday night. Stoney Creek has a big one looming with Adams next week.

TOUGH LOSS: Adams: The Highlanders controlled the game against Oxford and what would have been their second big upset of the season but the Wildcats scored a touchdown and got a defensive stand in a 15-14 stunner on Friday night. Adams changed defenses multiple times and won the time of possession battle with their vaunted veer offense. They have a tough one looming with Stoney Creek next week.

WHAT HAPPENED???: West Bloomfield: The Lakers are in deep trouble falling 64-8 to Clarkston on Friday night. The Wolves had a big night in all phases against West Bloomfield and even at one point led 43-0 before the Lakers answered but Clarkston had a 57-8 halftime lead. They have Oxford looming next week.

HUH??? Berkley: The Bears two game winning streak came to a halt after falling 35-23 to Royal Oak on Friday night. Berkley struggled with the Ravens offensively which showed in the game. This is a huge win for the Ravens as their postseason dreams improve and the Battle of Woodward is back at Lexington Blvd. They have a chance at the Gold with Ferndale looming next week.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Bloomfield Hills: What in the world happened to the Black Hawks on Friday night against Troy Athens. Bloomfield Hills allowed 53 points in a stunning 53-14 blowout loss to the Red Hawks on Friday night. The Black Hawks postseason dreams took a severe hit after this loss. They need to bounce back with Troy looming next week
