The Blackhawks made history on Friday afternoon at Michigan State.
Bloomfield Hills beat Northville 2-1 in penalty kicks earning their first ever Division One State Championship in girls soccer.
The Blackhawks were fifth in the Red this season but the postseason they peaked at the right time which ended up with a State crown and a huge win over the top ranked team in the State.
Bloomfield Hills struck first with 19 minutes left in the game on a goal from Ava Badallo but the Mustangs answered with 15 minutes left to tie the score.
The Blackhawks had a chance to win it in double overtime but an offside call disallowed a goal forcing penalties.
Bloomfield Hills ended up winning 3-1 in penalties giving them the State crown.
