STATEMENT WIN: West Bloomfield: The Lakers sent a message why they control the Red right now with a 35-27 win over Clarkston in the Swamp. West Bloomfield used Semaj Morgan, Kenny Jones, and Requan Nance whom all had big games. They are rolling with confidence right now.

TOUGH LOSS: North Farmington: The Raiders had the game in the bag but they allowed a 64 yard passing touchdown to tie the game to force overtime against their arch rivals. Farmington would then win 33-27 in overtime on Friday night. North Farmington’s Blue title hopes are in some jeopardy. They have a big one looming with Seaholm next week.

WHAT HAPPENED??? Lake Orion: Bottom line is the Dragons defense was on the field too much in their 42-21 loss to Adams on Friday night. Lake Orion wasn’t themselves offensively. That needs to change if they want to get to their goals. They have Stoney Creek looming next week.

TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Bloomfield Hills: The Blackhawks played much better on Friday night but they fell to Groves 35-28. It was a tough one for Coach Dan Loria and his program. Bloomfield Hills should be fine going forward. They have Oak Park looming next week.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Berkley: The Bears had high hopes and high expectations heading into the season but they haven’t done well all season which resulted in a 35-6 loss to Avondale. Their Gold title hopes are in serious jeopardy. They need to find that magic from last season. Berkley has Avondale looming next week.
