STATEMENT WIN: Ferndale. The Eagles are on the verge of winning the Gold after winning 21-10 over Avondale on Friday night. Coach Eric Royal has a ton of proven experience which helps a ton. This is a big win for the program to get back to where they want to be at. They have Farmington looming next week.
TOUGH LOSS: Troy Athens. The Red Hawks had a ton of momentum heading into their game against North Farmington on Friday night but the Raiders made a statement with a 28-7 win over Troy Athens on Friday night. The Red Hawks have Pontiac looming next week.
WHAT HAPPENED??? Troy. The Colts were coming in very good defensively all season but they were exposed by Seaholm on Friday night falling 52-0 at the Maple Forest. Troy is at a crossroads right now. They have Royal Oak looming next week.
TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Harper Woods. The Pioneers have been stuck on 12 points for two weeks. They lost their second game by a combined nine points after a tough 15-12 loss to Groves. Harper Woods postseason hopes could be in some jeopardy. They have Bloomfield Hills looming next week.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Bloomfield Hills. The Blackhawks came off a huge emotional win over Oak Park last week now yes it was going to be a tough matchup but Bloomfield Hills allowed 49 points in a 49-7 loss to Southfield Arts and Tech.
