STATEMENT WIN: Farmington. The Falcons went into Troy and stunned the Red Hawks 28-14 on Friday night. Farmington is starting to turn things around a little bit since their week one loss to Ypsilanti Lincoln. The Falcons are riding with some confidence with next week’s game for the Farmington Cup with arch rival North Farmington looming.

TOUGH LOSS: Oak Park. The Knights were in it on Friday night with Groves but the Falcons came out with a 23-18 win. Oak Park is turning things around which is a good sign despite the record, they will be a tough out for sure.

WHAT HAPPENED???: Troy. The Colts offensively were trending on water and finally caught up to them with a 9-0 loss to North Farmington on Friday night. Troy needs to address their offense and quickly if they want to turn things around and quickly.

TEAM THAT NEEDS A HUG: Royal Oak. I have give the Ravens a ton of credit. They played much better than the last two weeks even though they fell 22-21 on Friday night to Ferndale. The Ravens will be fine going forward. It was a tough one on Friday night though.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME: Avondale. I did not expect the Yellow Jackets to allow 63 points on Friday night which they did against Seaholm. Avondale has a huge game looming with Berkley next week. They need to shore up the defense.
