Adams has now added another Division One State crown to their trophy case.
It is the second State crown for the OAA.
The Highlanders went into Grand Rapids and beat Rockford 2-0 at Grand Rapids Comstock Park on Saturday afternoon. It is the first State crown for Adams in boys soccer since 1999.
Jackson Craft and Matthew Vostriakov had the goals for Adams in the game.
This State Championship is the second for Adams as a school. The girls golf team won the Division One State crown a few weeks ago.
It has been an incredible run for the Highlanders. They beat Troy in the regional semifinals on penalties kicks which was the turning point. Adams was middle of the pack in the Red. They overcame Lake Orion, Utica Eisenhower, Plymouth Salem, New Baltimore Anchor Bay, and Rockford in the postseason.
It was a great boys soccer season and the second for the OAA this school year.
