Adams at Clarkston: These are two teams that are no strangers to one another and both programs have experienced deep postseason runs. This is a rematch of a 45-35 Wolves victory in week three in Rochester. There should be plenty of star power in this matchup between the Highlanders and the Wolves. Ethan Clark has been playing very well for Clarkston. Clark had six touchdowns and 336 rushing yards in their 49-40 victory over Davison last week. He had four touchdowns against Adams in their week three meeting and had over 300 yards of total offense. Mike Hein had an impactful game adding a touchdown against the Cardinals. Hein also had a 60 yard rushing touchdown against Adams in week three. The Highlanders has a very talented quarterback in Parker Picot that has been playing really well. Picot has accounted for nine touchdowns in the postseason including three of them in their 28-14 victory over Rochester in which they trailed that game 7-0 at the half. This game could be a battle of the trenches or a battle of tight ends between Brady Prieskorn and Brody Kosin. It should be a fun atmosphere in Clarkston and on Bally Sports Detroit Extra on Friday night.

SANDY DUNES: CLARKSTON 49, ADAMS 35.

BURNEY: CLARKSTON 28, ADAMS 24.

DUNLAP: ADAMS 35, CLARKSTON 31.

TIM: CLARKSTON 42, ADAMS 35.

STICK: CLARKSTON over ADAMS

COTTER: CLARKSTON 42, ADAMS 28.

Groves at Livonia Franklin: This is going to be a very tough matchup for the Falcons. They head to Livonia on Friday night to play a Patriots team that has been playing really well since falling to Belleville a few weeks ago. Livonia Franklin has a very good rushing attack in their zone read game. They have proven running backs in Cordell Mabins and Dominic Simpson. Mabins had two touchdowns in their 27-7 victory over Temperance Bedford after trailing 7-0 early. Livonia Franklin has a very talented quarterback-wide receiver duo in quarterback JD Bates and wide receiver Tyler Garrett. They connected on a touchdown pass against the Mules last week. The Falcons are coming into this game with confidence. Groves beat arch rival Seaholm 26-12 in the district finals last week behind the play of their defense after trailing 12-0 early but scored 26 unanswered points. They will need a heck of an effort from running back Josh Woods and Cayden Hardy if they want to make the return back to the Division Two State Semifinals for the first time since 2018. Both teams are battle tested, it should be close.

SANDY DUNES: LIVONIA FRANKLIN 27, GROVES 24.

BURNEY: GROVES 30, LIVONIA FRANKLIN 27.

DUNLAP: LIVONIA FRANKLIN 27, GROVES 17.

TIM: LIVONIA FRANKLIN 28, GROVES 7.

STICK: LIVONIA FRANKLIN over GROVES.

COTTER: LIVONIA FRANKLIN 28, GROVES 14.

Games that impact OAA Teams

Grand Ledge at Caledonia: This is a very interesting matchup of two teams that have different styles on Saturday afternoon at East Kentwood. The Comets have surprised a lot of people. They beat Brighton whom to their defense was without their starting quarterback and then went into Lansing and beat Lansing Holt 21-20 last week. Grand Ledge runs a veer offense although not to the extreme that Adams does. Caledonia is a team that the OAA has seen before. They went into North Farmington and put up 66 on the Raiders which was the most that North Farmington has ever allowed. The Fighting Scotts are coming off an emotional 14-13 overtime win over Rockford last week. They decided to go for the win which ended up being the right decision. This should be a very interesting matchup to say the least in this game.

SANDY DUNES: CALEDONIA 28, GRAND LEDGE 14.

BURNEY: CALEDONIA 33, GRAND LEDGE 23.

DUNLAP: CALEDONIA 24, GRAND LEDGE 14.

TIM: CALEDONIA 42, GRAND LEDGE 14.

STICK: CALEDONIA over GRAND LEDGE.

COTTER: CALEDONIA 35, GRAND LEDGE 7.
