Region Seven @ Macomb Dakota

Utica Ford II vs Macomb L’Anse Creuse North

BLOOMFIELD HILLS vs Utica Eisenhower

 

THOUGHTS/PROJECTION: This is shaping up to be a very interesting regional at Troy. Macomb L’Anse Creuse North has had a solid season thus far and won the Macomb Dakota district. Utica Ford II has had a surprising run in the postseason after upsetting Troy in five games in the district finals. Utica Eisenhower won the tough Adams district beating Stoney Creek in four games. Bloomfield Hills had no issue winning the Waterford Mott district. I see this regional being a Macomb L’Anse Creuse North vs Bloomfield Hills regional final. I may be crazy but I see the Blackhawks making a ton of noise. PICK: BLOOMFIELD HILLS.

 

Region Eight @ Grand Blanc

Flushing vs Romeo

Hartland vs CLARKSTON

 

THOUGHTS/PROJECTION: Flushing and Romeo both won home districts now they head into Genesse County to compete in the regional. Clarkston had some trouble with Walled Lake Northern but won in four sets. Hartland had some trouble with Fenton winning in four sets. I’m seeing in this regional is really no one touching Clarkston. The Wolves have played a tough schedule and is rolling with confidence right now. Until otherwise this is Clarkston and Coach Alison Smith's regional to lose. PICK: CLARKSTON.
